Elle est la plus \u00e9loign\u00e9e de l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e ou orient\u00e9e vers la meilleure vue. \u00c0 l&rsquo;inverse, l&rsquo;h\u00f4te se place naturellement pr\u00e8s de l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e (<strong><em>shimoza<\/em><\/strong>), dans une posture de service. Dans cette logique, <strong>il est interdit de<\/strong> :<\/p><ul><li><strong>Planter<\/strong> ses baguettes verticalement dans un bol de riz, pour ne pas faire \u00e9cho aux rites fun\u00e9raires<\/li><li><strong>Se passer la nourriture<\/strong> de baguette \u00e0 baguette, ce qui rappelle \u00e9galement des rites fun\u00e9raires<\/li><li><strong>Pointer<\/strong> quelqu&rsquo;un ou quelque chose avec ses baguettes<\/li><li><strong>Les l\u00e9cher<\/strong> ou les utiliser pour se servir dans les plats communs<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Lorsqu&rsquo;elles ne sont plus utilis\u00e9es, les baguettes doivent \u00eatre pos\u00e9es sur le support d\u00e9di\u00e9 (<strong><em>hashioki<\/em><\/strong>). S&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas de repose-baguettes, elles peuvent \u00eatre pos\u00e9es proprement sur le bord d&rsquo;une assiette ou d&rsquo;un bol. Lorsque ce sont des portions \u00e0 partager, chaque convive doit se servir avec d\u00e9licatesse.<\/p><p>Il n&rsquo;est pas recommand\u00e9 de se <strong>servir \u00e0 boire<\/strong> soi-m\u00eame, mais plut\u00f4t d&rsquo;attendre que quelqu&rsquo;un le fasse. En retour, la logique veut que l&rsquo;on propose de remplir le verre de son voisin. Cette courtoisie refl\u00e8te la dynamique des <strong>relations sociales japonaises<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Au moment de trinquer, on ne dit pas \u00ab sant\u00e9 \u00bb mais \u00ab <strong><em>kanpai<\/em><\/strong> \u00bb (\u4e7e\u676f).
